Introduction to CIC Hearing Aids

The CIC hearing aids, as the name implies, are located completely inside your ear canal, which makes them very tiny and invisible. They are not visible to passersby unless someone is looking at your ear directly.

CIC Hearing Aids are customized because they are made from a mold taken from your ear canal. This does mean that you will find them comfortable and they will not move around inside your ear.

How do CIC hearing aids work?

Sound flows into your ear canal, where CIC hearing aids process and amplify it, then send it into your ear canal to your eardrum.

CICs are slightly different from invisible-in-the-canal (IIC) hearing aids, which are located in the second curve of the ear canal and are barely visible even when you look directly into your ear.
